Alira – Female Tonkinese

Alira came into care with her five beautiful babies. Although unwell with metritis, she was an excellent and dedicated mum to her babies. Her little ones have moved on to be adopted. Now, it’s Alira’s turn to find her forever family.

Alira is initially cautious around new people and may hiss at you if she’s scared or not sure, but with a little time and patience, her true nature shines through. Once she feels safe and relaxed, Alira becomes friendly, chatty, and playful. She adores a good chin rub and pat and loves to be near her humans, observing their activities from a comfortable distance.

Though Alira may never be a lap cat, she enjoys hanging out nearby and watching the world go by. Recently, she’s been rediscovering her love of play, especially enjoying games of chasing the swishy stick.
