About:

Kiffin is looking for a do-over. A new story, one with a happily ever after.
 
Her origin may be a sad one, she has survived an upbringing that many haven’t. She has overcome severe malnutrition and anaemia while safely growing and delivering her 6 beautiful kittens who all grew strong and healthy under her care and the care of our rescue team.
 
Many have followed Kiffin’s journey, even an article was written about her, and now it’s time to officially welcome applications to bring her into her own special family.
 
Kiffin is the very epitome of companion. She wants to be near you, and share your space. She is calm, kind and affectionate. She is very confident and does not hide from the world. In fact, you will always find her outstretched on the lounge room floor or sprawled over the couch, often watching TV.
 
She has a petite, quiet meow which she will use to let you know she’s looking for something. She loves the indoor life and has never made an attempt to try to go outside.
 
Kiffin sustained an injury to her neck when she was hit by a car. This does not cause her any pain, however her head does have a noticeable tilt at times. We would also say that currently, she has quite low mobility and doesn’t appear to have the best balance to make large jumps. She is ok on and off the lounge, but anything higher we don’t think she would attempt.
 
She is very smart and aims to please her humans, her gratitude is easy to recognise and she longs to just be loved.
 
She has been living with a family with children and we think she would be perfect for a family with children ages 10+.
 
Currently she can be picked up but only quickly. She does however like to lay on laps and legs when it’s the right time.
 
The right home will be relaxed and undemanding of her. Understanding she will thrive in a safe environment and the reward will be remarkable.
 
Seeing Kiffin not left behind after her kittens go to their new homes has been a promise we made to her. She fought so hard to be here and she deserves this so much.
